Its been some time since I have written a reverse engineering tutorial, & I thought it would be good to cover one at the

Requirements
- A-one Video to Audio convertor (Download from yaomingsoft.com)
- OllyDBG
- Time & Patience
Download & install A-one Video to Audio convertor. Now as you can see, its a trial version & once you try to register it, it gives an error <obviously>, & we need to find ways against it.
Now, to being with, fire up OllyDBG & load the A-one Video to Audio convertor EXE file in it.
Now, right click on
CPU window -> Search for -> All Referenced Text Strings
& in Text string window, right click -> paste the "Registration code is error" string (which pops when you input wrong serial) After you find it, double click it & navigate to the memory address.
Now, once you have reached the intended memory address, you can navigate a bit up to see the "register successful" string.
Navigating a bit above will get a simple logic which calls a specific function, & then the function returns a result which is compared to EAX
CMP EAX,1
& then jumps to 407A0F
JNZ SHORT 00407A0F
which is the "register failed" condition.
The whole scenario means that if value of EAX is anything less than or grater than one, the program will be a trial version & will not accept any invalid serial key.
Now, you can put a break point above the function call by pressing F2 & run the program, & enter the serial, the program will break & we can then navigate inside the function by pressing F7
You will get into function code. Add the breakpoint there by pressing F2 & restart the program again by pressing Ctrl + F9
Run it again & you will find that it will break it at 00406B40 (where you put the last breakpoint)
now, we will execute code step by step by pressing F8, once we go a bit down, we find

which jumps below to
POP EDI
& further we find that the value of EAX is XORed to 0.
so in order to insert a precise value into EAX, we will modify by double clicking
XOR EAX,EAX
& changing it to
MOV AL,1
which will set the accumulators value to 1 because
EAX - 32 Bit reg <extended>
AX - 16 Bit reg pair
AH / AL - 8 Bit regs
where AL will represent the lower value, & setting it to one will set the accumulator to a precise value of 1, hence setting value of EAX to 1,which will lead to program being registered :)
now once you have done it, right click the code,
copy to executable-> selection.
In the coming window, right click again, save the file & you have a cracked working version of the software, paste it in program files directory & insert any serial.
it will work :D

Start from the legs, buttocks, abdomen, chest, arms, hands, shoulders, neck, and face in turn. Do a tightening of these muscles, then release. When you’re used to doing this, you will be more aware of how to reduce tension on the muscles in the body.
Meditation
Meditation is a deep physical relaxation combined with mental alertness, and there are many ways to get this condition. One of the ways in which to meditate is to sit down, focus on something that takes your attention; a word, image, breath, or other things. No need to sit with legs crossed yoga-style meditation, you can sit on the bench with your back straight and feet flat on the floor and put your hands in your lap. Meditation has been made since long, including also in the teachings of religion, such as praying.
Close your eyes, breathe slowly and naturally, but focus on the sense of breathing in and out of your body. Enjoy the cool sensation as you breathe in exhaled air and the warm current. It is important to rid your mind of things that stress you out for a while. Meditation is an effective stress reliever to be done on a regular basis. Try to meditate a few minutes each day.
Yoga
Some yoga exercises, such as hatha yoga, discovered by the researchers could reduce levels of cortisol, a stress hormone, and makes the skin is not healthy. In addition, yoga is done regularly can also make the body more balanced, maintained posture, plus a more healthy skin.

Dear google, monoprice, amazon, please dont ask me to do reviews for items delivered via slow delivery. If I request slow delivery, there is a REALLY GOOD CHANCE Im not going to use the item right away. So, dont ask me to review it when I havent even taken it out of the package. You should only ask for reviews when things are shipped overnight. (Though arguably, if you are in that kind of hurry you dont have time to do reviews.) So I guess, Im just saying, stop asking for reviews altogether.

Serving Up Symbolism for Supper
Seriously though, its just a painting of a kid holding a serving tray in his hand. Oh wait, its above his hand...hmm. The rest of the painting is just a bunch of people in a building. Is he just a kid? Are they just a bunch of people? At a glance, this is just a simple moment in time. But take the picture apart and there are dozens of symbols or clues revealing the true identity of our innocent character. Heres some background to this painting.
His brief included:
Vass, the characters name, is elfin looking, almost androgynous. It is the late 1960s and he is a 12 year old boy who works at a cafe and is bringing you your food to eat in the outdoor patio. He is wearing an orange shirt, his hair is reddish blonde and he carries a serving tray with a cover over the contents,
The type of illustrations I most enjoy crafting are the ones where I can practice complex staging, excite our other senses besides just the eyes, and exercising allegories, symbolism, idioms, tributes, and weaving it into every square inch of the painting. My favorite master painters pushed meaning into every nook and cranny of their canvases. The illustrators I favor from the golden age of illustration did the same.
I began processing the piece. I worked out a list of ideas that I think would add something to the story. But I didnt have much time to work it all out. This would be a build it on the fly type of composition.
I wanted to play up both the alien qualities as well as the divine. I also had a few ideas about catching the viewers eye. I still have yet to find out if the one I used works or if I am just blowing smoke up my own Asgard. When all was said and done, here is what I managed to sneak into the image.
I used a song out of my skateboarder days that might not make much sense to many but I included it to help me make design decisions. A Wonderful Broken Thing,
a great band from the 1990s and two of the coolest people Ive ever known (RIP Jeff Klindt), made a song called The Bricks of Reason. While these bricks are still intact, they are old, they are crumbling, they are the walls that older generations put up to protect themselves from everything that scares(d) them. I designed the wall to appear smaller than Vass, no wall is too large to keep him out, and no problem is too difficult for him to find an answer. The truth is crystal clear like the window that makes up more of the composition than the wall.The wall is designed with 23 bricks. I was told long ago that the number 23 was the number of the almighty. I found that it represents God With Us. It is not a number used often in the bible, but when it is it is significant, such as Psalm 23 which speaks of prosperity based on Gods provisions. Those who come in contact with Vass are rewarded with this.
Behind Vass head is the doorway from this painting by DaVinci. There were also serving windows to form the trinity of portals, similar to this trinity. However, by the time I built out all of the layers the doorway suffers from too much obscurity and I ended up removing the other windows because they conflicted too much with the other details in the foreground.
The open sign was something I thought of last second, and killed my trinity of windows in the extreme BG but I wanted this for several reasons. First, it represents the characters openness to anyone, his temple, his cafe is open, and open to anyone and everyone.
Next, I added the open sign to the image as a way to get the potential reader to open the book and investigate the contents.
And finally, the placement of the word Open is no fluke. It is placed where we hold the book when reading it. It is also directly above the serving tray, my Macguffen for our cover story, the mystical suitcase in Pulp Fiction, the trunk of the car in Repoman. The word is tempting you the viewer to want to see what is inside the magical floating serving tray.
In the end he gave me a couple extra days to finish once he saw how much meaning I was trying to add to the piece. He was also several days behind in page production so in the end I was not stressing out down to the wire on the piece and I was able to get a symbol or two into the image to satisfy my pictorial needs. And probably, to most who see it, itll just be a picture of a kid holding a serving tray. Maybe thats all it really is, and all this that I finished writing was just a bunch of BS I had to make up because I couldnt think of anything to write about this week. Yeah, thats it.
