Reverse Engineering for Noobs Step by Step guide to crack A One Video to Audio convertor
Reverse Engineering for Noobs Step by Step guide to crack A One Video to Audio convertor
Its been some time since I have written a reverse engineering tutorial, & I thought it would be good to cover one at the dead of night :) What I am going to teach you today, is a simple reverse engineering tutorial. We will be cracking A-one Video to Audio convertor today, with just simple cracking. You can also give a read to a step by step guide to crack Winrar to have an insight into reverse engineering & decompiling, however this one is completely different & requires little to no programming & ASM knowledge.
Disclaimer By Reading this tutorial You agree that this tutorial is intended for educational purposes only and the author can not be held liable for any kind of damages done whatsoever to your machine, or damages caused by some other, creative application of this tutorial.
In any case you disagree with the above statement, stop here.
Requirements
- A-one Video to Audio convertor (Download from yaomingsoft.com)
- OllyDBG
- Time & Patience
Download & install A-one Video to Audio convertor. Now as you can see, its a trial version & once you try to register it, it gives an error <obviously>, & we need to find ways against it.
Now, to being with, fire up OllyDBG & load the A-one Video to Audio convertor EXE file in it.
Now, right click on
CPU window -> Search for -> All Referenced Text Strings
& in Text string window, right click -> paste the "Registration code is error" string (which pops when you input wrong serial) After you find it, double click it & navigate to the memory address.
Now, once you have reached the intended memory address, you can navigate a bit up to see the "register successful" string.
Navigating a bit above will get a simple logic which calls a specific function, & then the function returns a result which is compared to EAX
CMP EAX,1
& then jumps to 407A0F
JNZ SHORT 00407A0F
which is the "register failed" condition.
The whole scenario means that if value of EAX is anything less than or grater than one, the program will be a trial version & will not accept any invalid serial key.
Now, you can put a break point above the function call by pressing F2 & run the program, & enter the serial, the program will break & we can then navigate inside the function by pressing F7
You will get into function code. Add the breakpoint there by pressing F2 & restart the program again by pressing Ctrl + F9
Run it again & you will find that it will break it at 00406B40 (where you put the last breakpoint)
now, we will execute code step by step by pressing F8, once we go a bit down, we find
JNZ Video2Au.00406C4A
which jumps below to
POP EDI
& further we find that the value of EAX is XORed to 0.
so in order to insert a precise value into EAX, we will modify by double clicking
XOR EAX,EAX
& changing it to
MOV AL,1
which will set the accumulators value to 1 because
EAX - 32 Bit reg <extended>
AX - 16 Bit reg pair
AH / AL - 8 Bit regs
where AL will represent the lower value, & setting it to one will set the accumulator to a precise value of 1, hence setting value of EAX to 1,which will lead to program being registered :)
now once you have done it, right click the code,
copy to executable-> selection.
In the coming window, right click again, save the file & you have a cracked working version of the software, paste it in program files directory & insert any serial.
it will work :D
I hope you liked it :)
like this post ? you can buy me a beer :)

Removing Bra While Sleeping To Avoid Breast Cancer
Removing Bra While Sleeping, Sleep is a good time to rest his breast and women should not use a bra while sleeping. Removing her Bra While Sleeping to avoid breast cancer. According to the American Cancer Society, there is no definitive evidence linking sleep wearing a bra can make a woman suffering from breast cancer, as reported by LIVESTRONG.
But scientists Sydney Singer and Soma Grismaijer his wife in 1991 had written in his book Dressed To Kill: The Link Between Breast Cancer and Bras, which contains about women who want to avoid breast cancer should wear a bra in the shortest possible time and preferably less than 12 hours per day.
The best time to rest his breast without a bra is during sleep. Do not sleep with a bra, said Sydney Singer, as reported from chetday.
According to the Sydney Singer, use a bra for too long can increase the temperature of breast tissue and women who wear bras had higher levels of the hormone prolactin (hormone that functions to stimulate the milk glands) are higher. Both of these can affect the formation of breast cancer.
In addition, overuse, or use a bra too tight bra too harmful to health because it can restrict the flow of lymph in the breast. Normally, lymph fluid wash waste and other toxic materials, and keep him away from the breast. Both scientists say that sleep is a good time to rest his breast by not wearing a bra. Not just resting the muscles, during sleep the body is improved and detoxification (toxins). Sleep also gives the opportunity for the immune system to produce hormones immunity (immune).
Therefore, you should use a loose-fitting clothing or remove clothing in his sleep, so it can accelerate and facilitate the bodys performance in the repair process. For the women should Removing Bra While Sleeping.

Remote Desktop Access Comes to Google Chrome!
Remote Desktop Access Comes to Google Chrome!
If you have a reasonably faster internet connection then using free & popular tools such as the TeamViwer for instance, you can easily establish a remote desktop connection that has a lot of uses. This is a feature thats being largely used by both professionals (remote help desk providers) and users all around the world which helps to access a remote location with as low cost as possible :).
Anyhow, the latest news is that, Google has released an extension for their Chrome web browser which basically enables the users start a remote desktop connection for free!. The extension is currently at its beta stage and is about 19MB in size (it was introduced like 2 days ago ="Oct 7, 2011", and used to be about 17MB in size but have added 2MB already, seems like theyve done some "heavy" bug fixes already).

Its a cross-platform "thing" (obviously). So as long as you have installed Google Chrome web browser on MS Windows, Mac OSX, GNU/Linux or any platform the browser is installable, you should be able to start a remote desktop connection. The extension uses the Google G-Talk web API thus will ask you for your Google account access + at this point there seems to be no audio support but both video and text message sending is enabled by default.
As with other applications the remote desktop connection is implemented by using a access code (12 digits), encrypted. For instance, you can either generate a code for your computer and provide it to the user who wants to access your PC remotely or request their code and start the connection by yourself.
Either way, the code set-up is needed only once but if the connection got disconnected for some reason, then youll have to enter a new code for security reasons. Since the basic foundation of Chrome OS is actually the web browser itself thus this will also be seamlessly implemented in the Chrome OS too.
So, if you want to do more than web browsing the Google Chrome and want to start both a nerdy or professional remote desktop connection for free then why not try this Chrome extension!.
Once installed you can access it by simply opening a new window and then under the sub heading "Apps" click on its icon as shown with below screenshot and can even access few of its settings window (creating a shortcut, etc) too.
You can also read this official help page for more information.

Romania and the Last Frontier Day 5 p m To The Last Frontier
Romania and the Last Frontier Day 5 p m To The Last Frontier
After a fish lunch, we packed up our gear. This didnt take me long as I was living out of the suitcase anyway. It was time to wave goodbye to Mila 23. It had been a great start to the trip with so many memorable encounters and wonderful birds. By this stage in our journey I was looking forward to some dry land and actually going for a walk. For the past few days we had been on the boat and there is nowhere to walk by the hotel given that it is on an island and the only place for a stroll is around 20m in either direction on the veranda outside the hotel front door.
We piled our mountain of luggage onto the boat and slipped away downstream from the floating jetty. Our destination was a further two hour journey by boat to the Ukraine border in the far north-eastern corner of the Danube Delta. It seemed like the boat journey went on for ever and we got waved in on the main channel where the border runs by the police for a passport and papers check. The border patrol officer was bemused for a little while by struggling to match Paul with his passport. Since this was issued he had lost a remarkable 70kgs in weight and bears little resemblance to the photograph inside!
We eventually arrived at Ultima Frontiera, which translates to theThe Last Frontier, and following our boat journey it certainly felt a very apt name and that we were a very long way from anywhere. We received a very warm greeting at the dock as we loaded our luggage into two pick-up trucks. Zoltan, the Sakertour guide was also staying with us for the few days and obviously keen to explore the site as we were. I will take a few moments to tell you about Ultima Frontier. The site covers an area of around 1000 ha or 2500 acres and was the location of a former fish farm that was left undisturbed for many years. Below is map of the site to give you some idea of the layout.

The site has only literally just been opened to visiting wildlife photographers and we were to be amongst the first paying guests. Obviously this has advantages and some disadvantages. The main disadvantage is that the hides are new and such facilities usually take time to become established and the set-up refined. On my return I sent Skua Nature some suggestions where refinement of some of the hides could be made.
Once settled into the hotel, we all loaded up into the back of one of the pick-up and were taken by Luca and Zoltan for an evening tour of the site. This was mainly to familairise us with the layout of the huge area and hide locations but obviously the cameras would come with us just in case we came across anything on our travels. I was not expecting to get many photos though with a group of 4 photographers.
My first thoughts as we headed out in the early evening was what an incredible place this was. There were birds everywhere. Bee-eaters gliding around, Hoopoe probing the sandy tracks looking for mole crickets, the loud electric song of Thrush Nightingale from areas of scrub, Great Reed Warbler singing deep within the reedbeds, the list could go on and on. I could grow to like this place very quickly. However, it is not only birds here as there is a good head of mammals that includes wild horses, wild cat, otters and a very special animal which was one of the primary reasons for us heading here - the European Golden Jackal.
We drove around for quite a long time and eventually stopped on the main eastern track to try and photograph some Bearded Tit. The birds were relatively twitchy and are not easy to photograph with their constant fluttering and doing acrobatics around the reeds stems but we managed to get a few photographs of some young birds, my first of this species. I could see myself returning to try again for these over the next couple of days.

It had been a long day and I headed to bed early to recharge my batteries for the following day. I was excited at the prospect of next days of photography at the Last Frontier, particularly as it would start at 5 a.m with trying to photograph our main reason for being here.......the Golden Jackals.

Samsungs regressive attitude to product support
Samsungs regressive attitude to product support
Ever since my partner bought her iPhone 6S on launch day, it has received four or five software updates - I cant remember but it was at least once a month.
On the other hand, the last update on my Samsung Galaxy S6 was way way back in October. Meaning, not only is Samsungs so called flagship still running on the archaic Android 5.1, the security patch for it is October! The mind boggles on why this company still loves treating their customers with utter contempt. Even my five year old Windows 7 laptop is still getting its monthly security updates (and also a free Windows 10 update that I havent applied yet), but not a barely year old flagship.
Android apologists will no doubt refer me to the Nexus series - which I did own for two years under the guise of the initially superb, but then deliberately neglected Nexus 5 phone. If there was a compelling new 5" Nexus phone running on updated hardware that isnt more expensive than the S6, then I would get it.

Roaming in Romania Days 1 and 2 Long Journey to the Delta
Roaming in Romania Days 1 and 2 Long Journey to the Delta
Following my trip to Hungary last year, I was so impressed with the abundance and diversity of bird life, that I decided to make a return visit to Eastern Europe for my main overseas trip this year. This year I decided I would head a bit further east into Romania with the main attraction being the Danube Delta, known as the last true wilderness of Europe and noted for its amazing diversity and abundance of bird life.
There will not be many bird photographs for this post which mainly recounts my long journey to Delta but I did manage to get a couple of photographs en route including a new species.
The trip had been booked for many months so it was with excitement that I departed from the house on Friday lunch time for the 50 minute drive across to Manchester Airport. For this trip I decided to fly with British Airways which proved to be a much more enjoyable experience and removed any worries in terms of heavy camera hand luggage due to their allowance. All my kit was safely packed in to the Gura Gear Bataflae bag and for those interested the basic camera kit for the trip was a Canon 1DX and 1Dmk4 combined with a 300mm F2.8 and 600mm F4 lens and the two teleconvertors.
My first flight was a short hop down to Heathrow and then the hassle of having to swap from Terminal 5 to 3. By the time I had reached Terminal 3, dragging my heavy hand luggage, I had felt like I had walked half-way to Romania! In Terminal 3 I met up with Rene who was one of the other three photographers on the trip that had been organised by Saker Tours.
My trip last year to Hungary was also booked through Saker Tours. However, this trip was to be quite different. The Hungary visit was based around a number of established fixed hides and you could also predict what images you would home with, even down to the settings. The Romania trip was based on a much more mobile approach and birds encountered which would result in different images on each tour. This really appealed to me together with the fact the most of the photography would not be through glass as it was in Hungary.
We boarded the 3.5 hour flight to Budapest and lost a further 2 hours to time difference and so arrived around 11:15pm. We were not due to be collected until the following afternoon and so had booked a night in the accommodation in the Mogosoaia Palace. We managed to get ripped off by the taxi from the airport and getting into the Palace at midnight seemed a bit like trying to gain entry to a secure facility as we had to negotiate our way around several sets of security. We had chosen this accommodation as it is surrounded by parkland that may offer some opportunities for photography the following morning while we were waiting for collection. It was a nice looking hotel but I was starting to have doubts!
I did not sleep well mainly due to the fact that huge spotlights, lighting the historic building, lit up the room as if it was daylight and this was accompanied by a constant howling and barking or packs of feral dogs that seemed to be roaming the grounds. After a couple of hours restless sleep I woke around 5:30am to an unfamilar dawn chorus of nightingales and cuckoos. Further sleep seemed pointless so I thought I would head out with the camera for a couple of hours as the sun was rising to see what could be found.
I wandered down the edge of a large reed fringed lake and immediately heard the loud song of the Great Reed Warbler. This is a bird I have always wanted to photograph and after a short wait this giant warbler was in front of me singing. A good start.

Bursting into its very loud song in the early morning light.

I spent the rest of the time trying to photograph some cuckoos that were constantly flying around calling and managed to get a couple of photos before the light became to harsh and it was time to retreat back to the hotel for breakfast.

Zoltan, our host for the week, eventually arrived around 3:30pm with the fourth photographer, Michael from Austria. We loaded all the luggage and camera bags into the minibus and set out on a 4 hour drive across Romania to Tulcea, the gateway to the Danube Delta. It was interesting to note on this journey that the was a marked absence of bird life compared to Hungary which no doubt was partially a result of different farming practices. Huge swathes of the country are covered in enormous prairie like mono-cultures of wheat and sunflowers which are no doubt a remnant of the large state farms from the communist era. A very different situation compared to Hungary. Our journey to Tulcea did not pass without incident as we had a rear wheel blow-out which fortunately occurred about 100m from a tyre repair garage and so did not delay our journey much.
At Tulcea we transferred on to the boat for a 2 hour journey to our final destination, Mila 23, in the heart of the Danube Delta.

Mila 23 means Mile 23 and refers to the distance of the location within the Delta from the Black Sea into which the Danube finally discharges. At this point I will quickly mention the boat which has been specially constructed by Saker Tours for photography and was to be our home for the next few days. The boat comfortably accommodates 4 photographers and has been well thought out as a floating hide and allows birds to be photographed at near water level.
As we headed in to the Delta, darkness began to quickly descend and as we approached our destination of the Paradise Delta House Hotel we were sailing at speed through reed lined channels in the pitch dark. Our boat driver obviously knew the waters very well and must have very good night vision!

It must have been around 10 pm when we eventually arrived at the hotel which was very good and on an island opposite Mila 23. After a quick meal of fried carp, which I cant really recommend, we all headed to bed for the 5am start. I drifted off to sleep quickly while outside was the sound of thousands of singing frogs under a million stars in a clear sky above. After a long journey it felt we had finally arrived. Anticipation was high for our first day out photographing birds in the Delta which will be the topic for my next post.
